Today is the World Intellectual Property Day!
The event, giving meaning to our industry, was established by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in 2000 to raise awareness of how patents, copyrights, trademarks, and designs affect daily life and to celebrate creativity and the contribution of innovators for the development of societies across the globe.
World Intellectual Property Day is celebrated every year on a specific theme. This year’s theme is SMEs.
WIPO invites SMEs to protect their intellectual property rights under the slogan “Taking your ideas to the market”.
